Y KIDS COMMUNITY LEARNING CIRCLES
Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
$300 per week
Grades TK-5
- Alamo Elementary, Alamo, starting 9/8
Y Kids is a structured, supervised program for our students that will offer a great start and finish to every school day, with education and recreation opportunities, physical activities, healthy snacks, and all kinds of positive support, with a strong focus on STEM. STEM learning encourages innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity, resulting in a capable, multi-faceted child. Our teachers are here to assist and supervise children with their distance learning. With a schedule that fits their routine, children will need to bring a device from home to complete assignments from school.

WHAT TO BRING
- Face masks are required.
- Laptop with a camera, microphone and speaker. Personal Headphones are required.
- Bring any textbooks and note books required by your child’s teacher.
- Parents are responsible for providing Y-Kids Staff their child’s daily class schedule information.
- Y-KIDS will provide common classroom supplies.
- Healthy lunch and full water bottle.
DAILY HEALTH SCREENING
- Staff and children are required to wear a face mask.
- Parents will not be allowed into the center.
- Parents must complete a daily health screening questionnaire upon arrival each morning.
- Child’s temperature will be taken daily and recorded.
- Any child with a temp of 100.4 or over will not be allowed to be signed in.
SIGN IN AND OUT PROCEDURES
- Curbside drop off and pick up only – Parents must remain in their car at all times.
- Parents and individuals in the car must wear a mask.
- Staff will wear gloves and open car doors to let children in and out.
- Parents will be asked to use hand sanitizer on their hands before receiving the clipboard.
- Pen and clipboard will be wiped down after each use.
- After a successful health screening, staff will escort your child inside and to bathroom to wash hands.
- For signing out, parents can call the center and the Director/Assistant Director will meet parents at their car or designated area with their child/children.
- Parents will stay in their car and show us their ID through the passenger side with the window rolled up.
- Once ID is verified, staff will give the sign in sheet to the parents through the passenger side window.
