    Today, March 25, 2020, seven Bay Area county health officers, in collaboration with their six county superintendents of schools announced a unified, regional decision to extend school closures through May 1, 2020 to slow the spread of COVID-19 to the maximum extent possible.  This decision means that SRVUSD schools will be closed, along with all other schools in the region, until May 1st. The SRVUSD still plans to observe our previously scheduled Spring Break from April 6 through April 10th.

    About Our School

    About Us

    Alamo Elementary School is one of the original schools of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, located 35 miles East of San Francisco, tucked into the East Bay hills above the San Ramon Valley. Alamo School has changed in the past 25 years from a rural to a suburban school and ranks as one of the top-performing schools in the  County and State.

    It presently has an attendance of approximately 336 students, with 17 instructional classrooms in addition to a computer lab, a science lab, instrumental and vocal music instruction, art instruction, an MPR, and library. At present its CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress) score is well above 80% at or exceeding the standard for both ELA and Math, placing Alamo Elementary in the top 10% of schools in California.
